Thank you all, family and friends, for your thoughtful comments and your remembrances of Tyrone during his 44th birthday week. The birthdays do not get any easier, which may be difficult to understand. While I do not know each of you, and I cannot list each individual name because there are so many, I want you to know that every name and every like and comment was read, noted, and valued. Some of you knew him in Long Creek, some in Anacortes, some in Oregon City at OCHS and some in San Diego -- Kat, David C., Mark B., Larry O., Denice, Glenn, Arline, Mark O., Salt of the Earth, Robin, Scott, Julie, Chris B., Greg D., Chris G., Tim C., Todd W., Clybourne, Sandie P., Linda M., and Amy R -- You have all been faithful in your acknowledgements of his sacrifice and his service. For those of you who did not know him, your support is so very special, and I cant thank you enough. Family members -- Frank, Kathy, Dee Dee, Carlton, Marsha Kay, Sherry, Rosa, Betty Jo, Gio, Joe, Nancy, and Kimberly R.(did I forget anyone? hope not) -- your devotion continues and I am so very grateful that both Tyrone and I are held in the embrace of my warm, loving Southern family. I am sure that he is smiling big, thinking of everyone who has kept him in their hearts this past week. Your loyalty underscores the goodness of the American people, uplifts the spirit, and provides much comfort. Thank you.
