Thank you all for electing me as your VST. As of now Id like to put out an all-call for AVSTs. If you are interested in serving on staff, please contact me privately. Additionally, there will be a few changes going forward, which well discuss at session on the 5th. Please be there, if you can, and try to come early. Well have a general meeting at 5:30pm. Finally, I will be adding a semi-official position to the games roster, that of Player Representative. This will be an appointed position to start, though Ill certainly be willing to consider it being an elected position later on down the line. The role of this position will be two-fold. First, this person will be responsible for serving as a go-between for members of the playerbase who have concerns with the staff. If a decision was made that you disagree with, you have a concern with a member of staff (NOT another player - those concerns should be brought to the ST staff), or you just have a procedural question about MES or the rules system that youd like addressed by a neutral party, this will be the person to whom you will address those concerns. Additionally, and perhaps more importantly, this person will be in charge of recruitment efforts for the game. Theyll be responsible for spreading the word about BTES, encouraging new players, and helping people make new characters. While I cannot promise Prestige for this position, since the procedural process for such a thing is a little bit of a grey area, I will promise that I will do everything in my power to ensure that this person receives Prestige. This may mean that the position becomes an AVST, or there may be another way in which it can be done. Ill make the full announcement at session, once the kinks are worked out.
