Thank you all for the messages. Indeed it is for some of these sentiments expressed since last week friday that we wanted to clear the air in todays press conference at the partys headquarters .it is very unfortunate that it had to end abruptly. What was clear however was the fact that I as a chairman will not allow the misuse of the partys resources. We will also maintain our resolve to strengthen party structures and promote a high level of professionalism. It is in this regard that we served Mr Opare hammond and Perry okudzeto respectively with the administrative notices. You will agree with me if you are in a position to protect your property when under attack you will do just that before even calling for the help of the police or NADMO and that is what we did .To those party members that will want to engage in mudslinging by insults and tagging people as appendages of others and having taking bribe from somebody to promote some so called agenda should know that they are the ones breeding division,formenting troubles in the party. I promise to lift the flag of the NPP high and abide by the tenets of our partys constitution and the new plan for power which is to rebrand,restructure,and resource the party at all levels.This will make our party efficient,independent and ultimately give us power in 2016.When I told party faithfuls during my campaign for chairman that make me the party chairman,give me a flagbearer of your choice and I will do everything within my power to make him president I meant what I said and I will do just that. I know the aspirations of the large majority of Ghanaians and I will not fail.Long live the NPP Long live Ghana......PAUL AFOKO, the honest chairman!!!
