Thank you all for your patience last week! We found a large hole in the back of the building, and since our training floor is below grade, we were getting seepage. Phase 1 of construction was repairing and re-mortaring the back wall, then putting in drainage pipes, weeping tile, and 15 tons of gravel behind the building. This is now complete. Phase 2 involved emptying the entire studio, cleaning and preparing the floor surface, then sealing it with drylok. This is also done! Phase 3, which is the last step finishing the building is repairing the crumbling and bulging blocks in the front of the building and the poorly constructed roof interface with the wall. This portion is also done. The last step is installing new concrete board siding. This should be done within a week and a half. Thanks again for your patience while we finished construction to waterproof our building. Water will not trouble us again!
