Thank-you all for your prayers for Christian-our 15 year old grandson that was shot twice on Monday night. As we find out more about his injuries and how it all happened, it is very evident that the Lord has a shield of protection around him. He was shot in the stomach and the neck. He had internal bleeding and thankfully, that was dealt with in a timely manner...touch and go for awhile. They had to remove a portion of his colon (and reattach, thankfully). Another great concern is the position of the bullet in his neck/spine. His neck is fractured and doctors are amazed he is not paralyzed. They need to do x-rays to get a better view of where the bullet is actually located. They cannot do this until he is able to sit up/stand. The pain is immense from his surgery and so sitting up is very difficult, let alone standing. So thank-you so much for praying for him and his family...especially his mom who has dealt with so much these past few months. Have a very special Christmas Eve! No matter what is going on in our lives, Jesus is still the King. His presence is with us...Emmanual, the with us God!
