Thank you all for your prayers yesterday for my Gabbie as we traveled to CHOP. Surgery will be scheduled on Monday and it will take place 2 months from now. I must admit that I was disappointed and on the ride home I mediated on His word which always strengthens me in the journey. Isaiah 41:10, Fear thou not, for I am with thee: be not dismayed, for I am thou God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee: yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Disappointments come when our expectations are not met yet when we gather the fragmented pieces that seek to discourage our heart and bring them to Him there He stands with arms open wide, touched with the feeling of our infirmities and with love that overwhelms me from the inside out. I covet your prayers, I appreciate your calls, cards and concerns and I am eternally grateful to each one of you. I will never forget your kindness poured out in so many ways. Walking my dogs, cooking a meal. picking up things at the store and on and on it goes. Thank you most for your selflessness and your willingness to be whatever was needed at the time. Its been a full year since this all started but I do believe there is an end and this will not revisit us again. From the depths of my heart I thank you for showing me who you are. I love you💜
