Thank you all for your recommendations and encouragement! You truly inspire! Unfortunately I still get the random A$$hole who wants to go on a political rant by sending me a private message but does not have the courage to say it publically. This is not about me or politics, it is about honoring sacrifices and courage. This story is a snapshot of all those men and women in uniform and the families who love them. Many of you have asked for an update on where we stand, so here you are: **National Media- I have reached out to every outlet and prime time show host (Megan Kelly/Bill Oreilly/ Sean Hannity/Anderson Cooper, 60 minutes/20/20, etc...) No one has responded except Mike Huckabeebe, who is a very patriotic leader and host. He was very generous and had me on the show twice. Thank you Sir. **Second Book- I proposed several books, including the second half of Operation Medusa to the publishers in New York. They are not interested in another book on Afghanistan. *** Movie- We have two options: First, sell the rights to a studio and lose most intellectual control of the project. We have an attorney in LA. He says that you can write a contract and include stipulations but they have a work around for everything. I allow the story to be ridiculous or take away from the heroism by exaggerating the actual events, which recent movies have done. The second option is to build the project ourselves which is the way I have chosen. We have an investor who is willing to put up most of the budget but they want me to raise 8-10 million dollars which I obviously dont have, before they will begin to invest.
