Thank you dearest Wayne for sharing this post. I believe its important to stand in our own power with grace and charm, never a need to be ugly because it only hurts us. For me forgiveness comes with awareness. I go through life looking at everything as a blessing or lesson(teachers). It will either be the most wonderful experience or person or I will learn something from it or them. I feel I am in Earth School and what happens is either a chance for a passing grade, a graduation to move to the next level or an experience I have to repeat over because I havent been a good student. Once I process an emotion or incident, mine it for the greater good that will move my soul to higher consciousness, I release it, move on and wait for the next bit of blessings or emotional debris in the sub-conscious to float up to the surface to be blessed, healed and released naturally. I feel life is a wonderful opportunity to purify our souls. I feel empowered to take what happens in life, the base metal and turn it into gold. Its alchemy. Taking the darkness of winter turning it into golden sunlight of Spring, making it work for me rather than being a victim. Once I can see the higher purpose, its easy to forgive myself and the other person because the pain melts away and I know this person or circumstance has been part of my sacred contract. In Earth School one of the most important classes is discernment because what you accept you teach. The first time you let someone get away with something inappropriate youve taught them its acceptable. Life is a lot easier when you take a moment to step back and let a person reveal themselves first before you plunge into the emotional abyss. Ask yourself is this person for my highest good and am I good energy for them? Picking good people to be around limits the amount of forgiveness you extend. As for the past hurts of parents, ex lovers, strangers, friends, etc. the quicker you can see those people through the eyes of love, reclaim your power and remember to give as it is given. I must forgive if I want to forgiven for my ignorance. We are all ignorant in something and when you know more you do more. Blessings from the Heart. Kae Schreiber
