Thank you everyone for helping to name my doggie biscuits!!!! I really appreciate the help from my happy pappy friends. I DO have a recipe for you guys for that special dog treat (people will think you are a creative genius) which is sooooo simple with ingredients you have on hand. DOGGIE CANNOLIS Slice of bread (any kind of bread. I use stale bread) Carob chips (from any grocery store, they look like chocolate chips but arent poisonous for dogs), optional Peanut Butter Doggie Frosting (if desired) Copper pipe or Cannoli form Cooking spray of any kind- I use coconut oil spray but you could use pam or whatever. So you need something to bake your bread around in the oven. You can buy cannoli forms but they are expensive. I went to the home improvement store in the plumbing dept and found a 2 foot piece of copper pvc pipe. I had them cut it for me into lengths of 6. It cost about $6. Take them home and wash them. PREHEAT OVEN to 375 Spray your forms with cooking spray With a rolling pin, flatten your slice of bread. I cut mine in half longways for small dogs. Wrap either one whole slice or 2 half slices around the form. Place it seam side down on parchment lined baking pan. Bake for maybe 10 mins or until it seems dried out. (it will depend on bread). Take out of oven, with towel holding one end pull your bread formed off the form. Let it cool. If you need to bake longer after it is off the form you can do that. When it is cool..... Mix peanut butter with doggie frosting (you could use flour or powder sugar if you want). Pipe into the ends of your cannoli with cake decorating tip of a small knife. Decorate ends with carob chips. There is a lot of steps it seems but it is so easy.....
