Thank you everyone for your kind words on our recent engagement. Ive had many inboxes on my thoughts of love and marriage. Warning this will be a long one. I have many :) marriage is not for everyone. Many people see it as just a formality or a piece of paper. Marriage too me is multifaceted. For ME its the culmination of spirit and soul and the vow means eternity. Its a symbol, of union. Almost fairy tale for me, the happily ever after. Relationships are not easy. And shouldnt be. There has been nothing easy about Faron and my 7 year venture. But my dad was a firefighter and he always said, when you commit to a partner, like I do when going into a burning building, you never leave that fire without them. You fight through the intense smoke and heat to bring them out with you. And that is exactly how I view unions. I dont necessarily need a piece of paper but that paper also gives a sense of unity and oneness. Stability. Promise of forever. It is my value, may not be yours. If you feel like its a trap or that you dont want someone to own you, then you dont have the same values as me, and thats ok. Its about forever, and the promise to never leave your partner in the fire, unless of course he/she is the one burning you. Love you all and thank you again!!!
