Thank you everyone for your support for Bobs Atomic Burgers! Here is the deal ( sorry some of it was stated yesterday) A developer by the name of Chris Ernst with Aardex Real Estate Services bought our entire block from Wells Fargo. The city knew nothing about this transaction because it was a private seller and buyer. Our building is separate and is still owned by our land lord. But we will lose all our parking except what is in front of the shop. Of course Bob and I are heart broken and extremely worried how this will effect our business. As of now Mr. Ernest has not applied for any building permits for our corner. He is currently working on the developments on 12th and 13th street parking lots which will be condominiums and a couple retail spots. We will lose our parking as of January 1st. I am spreading the word to tell the good people of Golden about Mr. Ernest plans for the development on our block which will be a huge office complex. What can you do to support us?? Come in this winter and get a delicious burger :) so we can survive during our slowest months with no parking. I believe the city will do what they can to help us. They dont want to see a huge developer crush our business.
