Thank you for all who have participated in my birthday acknowledgements this year... Since I am now a quarter of a century old, I think it is time I start recognizing people for going above and beyond the regular happy birthday by handing out awards. EST, Shawnas dedication to set her alarm so early to do so is inspiring. What a great lady. Message her if you want to rent your house out in the Columbia, MO area, she will take care of ya! First Text award - Heath Debish No surprise here folks, the guys an animal when it comes to making you feel important. Thank you Heath for taking a moment away from closing MONSTER deals to wish me a happy birthday. First In Person Congratulations - Mark M Smilek (as he was getting in the shower this morning, THAT is dedication people. A happy birthday, and a show.) Best Birthday gift award (Still accepting gifts until the end of the month) - A tie between My Parents Bill and Susan with a great new golf set that will take a beating, and Jim Burtoft who is taking me shark Fishing the end of this week (If I dont return, you know who to send the police to) Most thoughtful and inspiring - Sal Pellegrino with his very impressive playing of the guitar and vocals of the well known happy birthday song on our South East conference call this morning. What cant this guy do? Sing, dance, wins vendor of the year, has his own gym at his house, what more to life is there? First Company e-mail wishing a happy birthday - Ben Lambert, whom I have spent TOO much time on the phone with lately...Guess that means orders are going through... which is a good thing I guess. I guess its kinda sorta the main point of this whole job thing. Who knows. Funniest text award from an American - Goes to my buddy Brent Haynes, which I am not able to share on Facebook due to...how nice it was... Thank you Brent for always being so positive towards your friends and always being uplifting! Your positivity is unmatched by most mortals. You want catch nothing but kindness coming from this guy! Funniest text award from a foreigner - Goes to Allison Hu who is busy solving math problems and staring at shiny things to accept this award currently. Lets give Allison an American Thank you for getting off her calculator and on her phone and sending an SMS text message to me congratulating me. Thank YOO-HOO! (You Hu) Funniest voice-mail left - Goes to Giovanni Dattoli, once again not able to share on Facebook. Gios voice-mails will always leave you laughing. Every time I see a voice-mail from this guy I just cant wait to listen to it. Funniest happy birthday video: Goes to my family and the Debbie Rehmer family. If you could of left Joshua out of it, you may have beaten Sal in the most thoughtful and inspiring award... Most thoughtful birthday lunch - this one will go unnamed, lets just say there was coffee and conversation involved... which will hopefully lead to more coffee and more conversation... Most thoughtful Birthday Dinner - Goes to Magic Man Mark M Smilek , When the food is there, NOW YOU SEE HIM, when the bill comes, NOW YOU DONT! Just kidding, he is the man, the myth, and the legend folks. Even got me a Birthday card and Present. Lets start using Marks dedication as guide on how to celebrate next years birthday. (Thats two awards for Mark) This concludes this years awards, but that doesnt mean the the congratulations and gifts should stop! Every mention, gift, meal, etc will carry over into next years contest.
