Thank you for allowing me to join the group. I am a writer and producer, who is determined to help our veterans the best way that I can, which is through my work. We have two projects on our slate that will do just that. Horses and Heroes is a documentary series in which veterans will tell their stories without censorship, while they go through Equine Therapy. Working with the horses helps them see and understand what pulls the PTSD triggers, helps them strength their bodies, and rebuilds their confidence. Its not a cure all, nor will it give them back what they lost, but it will help them build a new life. Operation Home Base is a scripted series that combines the best of MASH, The Waltons, and NCIS. it is a family of man drama about forgiveness and second chances. The goal of both series is to prove that those who serve are people not disposable parts of the war machine. This video is our presentation for Horses and Heroes.
