Thank you for allowing me to join your group. as of this moment (this might sound a bit strange); but, here goes nothing, around 7-10 days ago the main unit;where you pour in water to be heated; just up and quit (first thing that a.m.;I know how rude;lol). we still have the filter basket and the decantuar. Right now if my husband and/or I want coffee (PLEASE be patiant with me); 1)put enough water on to boil, 2) put the grounds along with a paper filter and place/sit the basket atop the decantuar;3) this last step is whats go me going so crazy; once the H2o reaches a full and this is to ensure that when done pouring the boiling H2o (one[1] cup at a time) youll finally get that 1st cup of coffee. Heres the monster of a hurdle were facing Im in a wheelchair(power) and my Husband is a Disabled Vietnam Era Veteran whos unable to walk the 1/2 blk to the closest corner. So if anyone has a H2o heating element they dont need please contact me via the comments section. thanks and Have a Blessed and safe wknd.
