Thank you for contributing and sharing the WEDGEWOOD Kickstarter campaign! It has been HUGELY successful! I am completely blown away and grateful for your generosity and support for my music!!!! According to Kickstarter rules, the campaign must stay open for 30 days, so we still have to wait before moving forward, however there is still time to pre-order the record and or get in on any of the other rewards(3 more weeks)! Just in case you thought you missed out :) After receiving contributions overnight, getting feedback from you all, and checking out the hugely successful Amanda Palmer campaign, which brought in over 10 TIMES the original goal, this got me to thinking, should that extra money come in... Now, just in case you are thinking, wow this McPherson is a really greedy jerk. What will he do with that extra money? Buy tacos? Play unlimited mini golf? These would be my plans for what to do with any extra funding. 1. An awesome music video, 2. Vinyl Double LP Pressing of my last album, American Boy American Girl, 3. A new killer Live album 4. New Studio record from scratch. All of this has to be thought out and I need to research Kickstarters “Stretch Goals” but I am just throwing this out there to you all, since we are all in this together! All of this being said, I am VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY HAPPY with the rapid success of this campaign. The idea of stretch goals is icing on the cake and something to play around with. I would love to hear some more feedback from you, some of your suggestions for new rewards, and what you would like to see and hear from me.
