Thank you for the reminder that after serving our country in times of war and in times of peace, many of our fellow Americans have been lost to their own internal wars which often leave them without hope and without dignity. Many homeless men are veterans, and we should not forget that when we drive past the parks and see the homeless. Many of these men have too much pride to ask for help. I hope this Veterans Day brings more of our veterans into the light, and I hope the courage on all our parts brings many closer to being a whole and contributing member of our society.
