Thank you for your prayers. As it turned out my cataract surgery was not a walk in the park but rather described as a light adventure I had not anticipated. Myriads of lights, the breaking apart of my old lens by laser, and a new light show in the implanting of my new lens, all took me to an exploration that resonated with my imaginative spirit. Left with some pain, a little cloudy vision, and scratchy feeling but those have largely disappeared. When asked how I was doing during the two part experience, I replied: it is a new experience. I am enjoying the light show. The most uncomfortable part was putting the IV in the back of my hand. A follow up meeting with the doctor today and, hopefully, back to driving, writing,....tomorrow.
