Thank you, one and all, for the very kind birthday wishes! All the "love" made me feel like the "Sweetheart of Sigma Kai"...and I needed that! It was definitely an "unusual and eventful" day...starting with me being an (too close for comfort) eye witness to some Oakland "street violence" involving a high speed car chase, three "fleeing" teens, a gun in the street, and a woman almost lose her life due to it all! All this at 7:20 a.m....before my day had really even started! Had me really "flustered" for about 2 hours. However, everything was fine and now I will NEVER forget my 49th birthday!
