Thank you one and all for your birthday wishes. I spent my birthday with my brother and niece on the High Sierra Trail out of Sequoia National Park. We were challenged by a sudden snow storm and unexpected very cold weather that forced us to retreat back to civilization. In spite of the adversity we had a good time being with each other. Most times the celebrations and revelations come when we reach the summit and sometimes they come while we are in base camp. This trip was the later and it was a great birthday for me.
