Thank you so much Northeast Eagles Cheerleading for all youve given me this past year. You have each stollen my heart in many different ways. Not only have I taught you all about cheerleading but, you all have taught me about myself. To all the Seniors, Good luck in the future and thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your past. To the rest of the girls and Marcus, I cant wait to see what the future holds. It can only get better from here. I cant wait to put that State Championship ring on my finger next year. To the parents, thanks for letting me spend so much time with your children. You all have raised a great group of kids. Momma Dana Jefferson, it was truly an honor to have coached Beside you. I have always looked up to you. Youve been a parent, friend and coach to me and grandparent and someone special to my children. I could only hope that one day I could be half the person, coach and mentor that you are. Thank you for allowing me to join you this year. Danielle Taylor, I didnt know you going into this year but, we clicked right from the beginning. You have been an amazing coach to these girls. What you were able to do with J.V. is unbelievable. The fact that you let me stand next to you and call me your assistant made me so honored. So again thank you so much for that opportunity. Last but not least Sammie Jefferson, not many can say they get to coach along side one of their life long best friends. I love looking at these girls bicker, fight and make up knowing that we were the same way. It is amazing that we are still in each others lives, with a bond thicker than ever. I hope these girls look at our friendship and realize it all started on that mat 14 years ago. I hope they to can walk away with a friendship like ours. Since then youve gone off to college twice and bought your first home. I got married and you were even there to see my children be born. We have shared all life events together. Now we start a new chapter in our lives as coaches. You are an amazing choreographer, coach and therapist to this team. Cheerleading has kept us together, even when life seems to crazy to get together. I love you so much Samantha brook! Thank you again ladies and Marcus for the team picture. My husband and I have already hung it on the wall along side our FAMILY photos. See you all next week for conditioning!
