Thank you to Adrian Andrusier: This brave son of Israel stands up in the Lions Den - the United Nations Assembly - and without mincing his words blasts the hypocracy of this bankrupt organisation. He reminds them and through the medium of Facebook, the people of the world ,of the history of European actions or non actions in the face of antisemitic and anti Israel persecution. He tells of how only the United States came to Israels aid when the Arabs launched the 1973 Yom Kippur War. He spells out how the only Arabs who live freely in the entire Middle East are those who reside in Israel. He describes vividly recent events in Jerusalem and points the finger at Sweden and other European States who are recognising the new State of Palestine without ensuring a peace deal first. He is supremely eloquent and says loudly and clearly what most Jewish people feel. Sadly he is a lone voice - there is no reaction from this (non) august body. He is talking to deaf ears. As the nation states cower in fear of Musilm world domination and grant support to Hamas and its ilk in order to appease the terrorists in case they are targeted, only Israels representative has the guts and stature to speak out. Woe betide us all if the extremists are allowed to prosper !! At the same time he makes it completely clear that Israel wants peace while the Palestinians only appear to want the elimination of Israel. He makes it abundantly clear that Israel will never give up its independence and recognises that it cannot expect any state in the world to come to its aid in an emergency. It must be able and will make sure it is able to defend itself from those seeking its destruction. Bold words ! In a world of double think it is refreshing (but immensely depressing) to hear some home truths. I hope those sitting in the Assembly were cringing !!! (but I doubt that the thick skinned diplomats will do that !)
