Thank you to all those that came out to support the Silver City K9 Dog Show this past weekend at the Westfield Fairgrounds. It was a bittersweet time in the lives of the friends and dog show family of President Carleen Farrington who passed to Spirit in July, but she made sure we kept our noses to the grindstone and put on an outstanding show in her honor. We could not not have asked for a more beautiful weekend, filled with sunshine, smiles, laughter (LOTS of laughter), tears and of course, an outstanding caliber of dogs. Carleen most definitely would have been pleased by the show of support for her beloved Club. Thank you to our four prestigious Judges, Jackie Craver, Mary Ellen Meyer, Darice Ragan and Carlos Rodrigues for their vast knowledge and expertise. Thank you Renee for handling all the dreaded paperwork and for keeping our entries running ever so smoothly. And lastly, thank you to the Silver City K9 family who pulled together during a most difficult time to put on one of our best shows EVAH!!! We all realize that Carleens Spirit was alive and well and touched each and every one of us this weekend. Thank you all for your emotional, physical and financial support. Looking forward to seeing you, and your dogs, all again in March, 2015
