Thank you to all who attended our August Project Grad meeting. A summary of the discussion and upcoming events is listed below. The next meeting is scheduled for September 9 at HHS in Mrs. Tess Durdens classroom. Please make plans to attend. Rifle Raffle - We are raffling off a .270 Remington model 770 series rifle with a scope. Tickets are $10 each and please contact Tess Durden if you are interested in receiving a 10 pack to sell. The winner will be drawn during the half time of home varsity game on November 7th. This is also senior night. If we sell all 500 tickets we stand to profit over $4000!! Wildcat Country yard signs - We have ordered and received 250 of these signs to sell. The cost is $12 each and please contact Chrysta Chancey if you are interested in purchasing one or know someone who is. Signs were sold at Friday Night Live by Chrysta Chancey and Michelle Crawley on August 15th and we have sold approximately 25 to date. Signs were placed at Shops on the Corner, Cats on Main and also at Mid Florida Crop Insurance to be sold from those locations as well. Thank you to Linda Smith for driving down to Ft. Myers and picking those up for us since it saved tremendously on freight by not having them shipped. If we sell all 250 signs we stand to profit over $2000!! Kristi Benton is currently working on logistics for the golf tournament so if you are interested in helping with that event please contact her. Homecoming will be here before you know it and this years theme is Wildcats through the Decades. The seniors have chosen to represent the 80s. If you are interested in helping with the homecoming float please get in touch with Sarina Paris. Homecoming is Oct 10. Winter Dance is tentatively scheduled for Dec 13th and Laura Gilliard and Charlotte Terrell are spearheading this project. If you are interested in helping please contact either of these ladies. Overhwhelmingly the trip to Wet and Wild won out in the vote for the Project Graduation event. More details will be forthcoming at the September meeting.
