Thank you to everyone--Everyone--for your best wishes and it felt pretty special to be in so many peoples prayers, even my hometown church. Cheryl posted a quick update yesterday for me when she had a chance to run home. My surgery went VERY WELL. 5 and 1/2 hours on the operating table. I am currently off the pain pump, on oral pain meds, and have been walking and doing laps on the unit with physical therapy, all within 24 hours. Thanks to my Cheryl. It was a monster day for her yesterday and I know she is exhausted. And my elderly neighbor Chuck had the driveway clear of the snow for her last night and today. That man ROCKS! Anxious to get back home and see my doggies. Keep sharing those lost dogs in my absence. It works. I would post a selfie in my hospital gown but they keep telling me I am wearing it backwards. Everyone have a wonderful day !
