Thank you to everyone for all of the love and support over the past few months. I wanted to give you all an update on my status. The brain surgery to remove the tumor has revealed that it was cancerous which means that I am now fighting brain cancer. In my spirit I have already won this fight, I’m just waiting on the doctor’s and my body to catch up. John 6:5-6 “When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? And this He said to prove him: for He Himself knew what He would do.”(KJV). I’m not worried about my outcome; Jesus knows what He’s going to do. He trusts me to go through this and I will praise God every step of the way; with Christ we never fail. John 11:4 “When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.” (KJV). I am confident in what God is going to do and I trust Him. As I continue on this journey please know that if you see me and I don’t seem as social as I used to be, that I am not intentionally trying to be rude. At this time, everything that was normal for me is now more difficult to do; from reading to walking and more. I know I look good, but I’m not 100% yet :). At this time, I have to place all of my focus on getting better. All those that care about my health and getting better; this is what you can do: 1) Pray (1 Thessalonians 5:17 – “Pray Continually”), 2) Simply do what you know is right to do. Jesus gave us a wonderful example in John 15:14 “Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 3)Treat others with love and respect (John 13:35 – “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”) Your continued service under the vision and direction given you provides me with great consolation during this challenging time. Thank you all again for your love and support. Feel free to continue to show it via social media and or cards that can be sent to New Jerusalem Cathedral 1822 Sharpe Rd. Greensboro, NC. 27406. Keep praying and keep trusting. #Let’sGo With Love, Wil E. Coleman
