Thank you to everyone who came out tonight for a terrific opening night! Were sad we werent able to get the balloons in the air tonight, but I was glad to go out and see that people were enjoying the carnival, Midnight Special The Classic Rock Experience concert, Great Lakes Timber Show, Kids Day, displays and vendors. It was a GREAT first night. We continue the fun tomorrow! Ill be out and about tomorrow asking some people some questions, so you may run into me. At any rate, tomorrow will be the FIRST TASTE of major jet noise over BC (if you didnt get any today from TB #8). The Thunderbirds will be arriving tomorrow around 3 PM. Sadly, our gates will not be open. Our gates DO open at 5 PM however and there will be a Thunderbird media flight around 5:30 PM. So be ready for some JET NOISE on the event grounds as WIN 98.5 Countrys Kody Mac goes for the ride of his life. We have more goodies tomorrow as well...Midnight Special concert again along with Skeleton Krew, Battle Creek, MI. Great Lakes Timber show will also perform two shows tomorrow night. The carnival, displays & vendors will also be open again (with some more displays opening tomorrow). Well have a Balloon Launch at 6:30 PM (weather permitting) and well cap the night off with our very popular BALLOON ILLUME. You wont want to miss it. Thanks again fans for tonight.
