Thank you to everyone who remembered us as we went to the VA for Jimmys test. The test was done. We wont know the results until we meet with the Neurologist again. We drove home in a rain that turned to snow storm and were happy to get home. I had a test done on Tuesday and am in the final stages of trying to get an insulin pump. I am a little excited and a little scared. Pumps didnt used to be given to anyone who had insulin reactions very often. We are going to try this to see if we can avoid the insulin reactions, so it is a trial sort of at first. The one problem with a pump is that it continually gives your body small amounts of insulin every few minutes. If you went low or passed out the pump would continue to give the insulin which would lower your sugar even further and become life threatening. That is my only concern. If I can avoid highs and lows and keep a more stable number altogether it may be beneficial. I find out for sure on Monday. I will keep you posted. Love Patty and Jimmy
