Thank you to everyone who supported me with their time, their hard earned money, and their well wishes this campaign. There are lots of ups and downs over the course of a campaign, but it seemed that whenever things were getting tough, someone would email a word of encouragement, order a sign, or hit me up on Paypal. It was those little moments that kept me going, and reminded me constantly that I wasnt doing this just because it was something Ive always wanted to do, but because there was an amazing community of people out there who believed in me, and whom I genuinely wanted to serve. Lots of you are encouraging me to stay active in Hamilton civic affairs, and frankly I cant imagine doing anything else. This week Im getting over my post-election cold. Monday morning I go back to Metrolinx, and Monday evening I go back to being Ringtail at the 47th Hamilton Scout Group. Beyond that, the potential opportunities to be involved have started piling up very quickly, so Ill take some time and decide next steps. I will, of course, Tweet and Facebook the bejeezus out of whatever course I choose. :) Thanks again.
