Thankful for dedicated houseparents who are committed to serving and loving Mississippi children. This from Mrs. Anita Farrow who along with her husband, Jimmy, are celebrating 10 years of service. 10 years ago tonight, Jimmy and I came on duty for our first time in Dean Cottage on the Farrow Manor Campus. Truthfully, I have shed many tears. Had my feelings hurt more times than I could count. But, I have laughed more than I have cried. I have been rewarded many times more than I have had my feelings hurt. We have ministered to almost 30 kids in that time. I still hear from many of the ones who have moved on, especially on Mothers Day. It shouldnt have been me sitting on those ball fields, clapping at those graduations, or worshipping with those leading in worship.....but for whatever reason, God allowed it. Ive been discouraged, angry, frustrated, etc....but more than anything, I have felt blessed.
