Thankful for short term volunteers who helped me ( i think i ended up helping her more than the other way around...) make ten double batches of homemade playdough for VBS next week, along with cutting up four hundred straws for necklace beads and cutting out hundreds of paper charms to go on the necklaces as well.... Woot woot for volunteers!! Think you dont have what it takes to go on a short term trip? Think your skills arent needed? Listen, if you are still breathing and willing to do any job asked of you, trust me, some one somewhere has a need for you! Volunteers are needed EVERYWHERE.. from your local food bank, homeless shelter, school, youth organization, church, to further abroad! Just remember..very little of mission work is the fun stuff or good photo ops, but its the behind the scenes work that we so desperately need help with!
