Thankful for the reminder at my workshop yesterday with Studio Y around ableist language like crazy. I am committed to working on it, and when there is something I want to work on I try and think about a tool or a strategy to make the change. I thought that an idea of how we could collectively work to shift this out of our vocabulary is by naming an ableist word and giving some synonyms. For example; instead of crazy, I could use wild, unbelievable, confusing, overwhelming, startling. This way we can start to create new associations to replace the old one. Ok now you do one:)
