Thanking God for another day! Today is : Chucky, The Notorious Killer Doll Day: whats a day of Chucky without the victims... Im your friend til the end....hiddy ho...hahaha... Some of yall may have seen my Chucky imitation....scary! LoL! International Artists Day: Although art is generally thought to encompass painting, sculpture, writing and music, in fact art in some form or another impacts on us all on a daily basis. Artists have the privilege of bringing the timeless dimension of beauty and grace to humanity. Centuries of our human condition have been chronicled and depicted by artists. Our major galleries are filled to overflowing and yet the artist remains an enigma. International Artist Day, is to honor the contribution artists have and are making to society. Use this day as the opportunity to take an artist to lunch, buy that painting thats been haunting you for months, visit a gallery, go to the symphony or participate in something creative that is “outside the box” of your day to day life. National Pharmacy Buyer Day: recognizing the work done by the pharmacy buyer. These people perform the difficult job of making sure their pharmacies have needed medication and supplies so that pharmacists and technicians can provide quality health care to the public. Sourest Day: Life given you lemons? Today is the day to shout about it. Reserve the right to be grumpy, irritable and sour about the world and everything in it. Unfortunately, some people think this is everyday! :( National Greasy Foods Day: not the healthiest of choices, every once in awhile it is okay to enjoy some greasy food, when it is done in moderation. From fried chicken, pizza, nachos, french fries to bacon and hash brown potatoes, we all like a treat in our regular diet. National Breadstix (Bread Sticks) Day: Originally thought to have been created in the 14th century, breadsticks, according to a local tradition, were invented by a baker in northern Italy in 1679. Breadsticks are often found offered in restaurants as an appetizer and come in various sizes that are frequently enjoyed with dipping sauces such as marinara, ranch dressing or Alfredo. World Pasta Day: established as an annual event at the first World Pasta Congress held on October 25, 1995 in Rome, Italy. It is promoted by pasta manufacturers around the world. This special day promotes the consumption of pasta around the world. It seeks to increase awareness of the benefits of pasta. Each year on World Pasta Day, events are held to help spread the world about pasta and its nutritional value. The National Pasta Association and pasta manufacturers sponsor these events and activities. Soooo......rent a Childs Play movie, hug an artist (or Arrr-teest - as my friend Carrie says it), hug the people who make sure your pharmacy has what you need, hug a sourpuss! Maybe theyll be a bit less grumpy, have something greasy - if you must! Enjoy some pasta and breadstix! Make mine whole wheat, please! :) Whatever you do, make it fun! If you see Stacy Mitchum, Mark Kasic, Andrew Allen or Tammy Hough Drakeford, wish them a Happy Birthday! I love yall! Have a great Friday!
