Thanks Al for this awesome and funny review on TripAdvisor.. welcome to your Italian Grandma house:) When hear and think about a vegan restaurant your first inclination is to run towards the steakhouse. Fear not my meat loving friends you too can soon learn that vegan food - prepared by one skillful person - can be an explosion of flavor. Ashs cafe is a fantastic small gem in Pottstown and surrounding areas. You are always greeted with a giant smile and you know the food is being prepared by someone who not only enjoys cooking but wants you to walk away full and satisfied. Somehow this Syrian man acts more like my old Italian Grandma - always willing to go the extra mile for you and your taste buds The cafe ambiance is very relaxed and set up for a long cup of coffee and a movie on a Friday night. You might miss the store front if you drive too fast along King Street - Rt 663 so slow down and enjoy Fear not the veggie man and remember beans have protein too :)
