Thanks Jeff Griffin and Chad Warner for the nomination for the ALS - TopicsExpress

Thanks Jeff Griffin and Chad Warner for the nomination for the ALS ice bucket challenge. Unfortunately, my video was too long so that message was cut out. Also cut out were a few facts about the disease. ALS is a disease that attacks the nervous system and leads to paralysis and eventually death of its victims. An average of 15 people are diagnosed every day throughout the world, and there are no racial, ethnic, or socioeconomic boundaries for the illness. Research in recent years has been able to identify treatments that prolong the life expectancy of those affected, who on average are given 2 to 5 years to live. I nominated my brother, Michael Huber; my niece, Amber Renee; and the biggest advocate I know of this campaign, Josh Tejkl. Learn about the disease, make a donation if you can afford one, and enjoy the video! Michael, Amber, and Josh - the clock is ticking so chop chop!
