Thanks Keiffer Danao and Daniel Kai for tagging me into this new chain of nominations. I tried to make this sound interesting, since Im pretty boring. Here goes. 1. My name is pronounced Rah-ee-zah, not Ray-zah. Though I used to not know how to pronounce it, and when I got nervous, I pronounced it as Ray-zah. Sorry if I introduced myself wrong to you in the past (especially my workmates lol). But I turn around for both. My parents named me after a Russian First Lady. In Yiddish, my first name means rose and in Spanish, my surname means the rose. Rose the Rose. lol if I had my mums maiden name, my name would mean Rose of the Kings. How cool is that?! Either way, I like my name. 2. I share the same birthday as my brother, but hes 3 years older. 3. I can fall asleep anywhere if Im really tired. When I was younger, I used to get into trouble for falling asleep at the dining table. Ive fallen asleep whilst walking with my titas at the mall...literally still walking (or probably being dragged, by then). And the most memorable, since my family still talks about it; I fell asleep behind my grandparents piano whilst playing with my toys or hide-and-seek or something. My whole family and relatives were looking for me for ages, and it made them worry. My brother eventually found me snoozing in the dust. lol 4. I used to have a specific pose when I was younger (see photo). And I used to smile a lot too! (I STILL LOVE TO SMILE!) 5. I LOVE climbing things and being high up somewhere. I love heights basically. If Im not in a dress/skirt and I see a climbable tree I will climb that thing! I want to sky dive and bungee jump some day! 6. I like to collect Disney movies on DVD, or more recently, Blu-ray. Its still growing. >:) 7. My singing voice is actually very low, even though my speaking voice is like a 5 year old childs. You can still catch me speaking in a low register here and there. 8. In year 10, I went to a women in engineering day at UTS. One of the activities was to do with civil engineering. I thought it was the most boring engineering and I was sure Id do chemical or electrical...now I study civil engineering. lel 9. I originally studied Architectural Computing (a design course). Until I decided designing buildings wasnt my forté. But it made me love and appreciate structures. 10. My favourite colour is red. Despite the fact that I wear so much black. 11. I can hoolahoop for a long time without stopping/making it fall. 12. Even though you can find me running/rolling around and being crazy with people, I quite often enjoy chilling, roaming and exploring places by myself. 13. I LOVE EGGS! I cannot fathom how much I love eggs! Mainly chicken and quail eggs. My parents often tell me I look like an egg because I eat it a lot. 14. I used to go to prep school in Philippines before I moved to Australia. We used to read, write and study stuff. I cried once because I forgot my exercise book at home. Mind you I was 3 at the time. When I got here, I went to preschool...and I was shocked at all the kids playing, eating sand, and taking naps. I adapted to the nap thing pretty well though. Haha 15. My favourite anime of all time is still Ouran High School Host Club. Judge all you want haha 16. Im not good at telling stories and jokes. Especially since Im very awkward. Just ask all my high school friends. They endured 6 years of it. Haha. So I get really excited when I tell a story without screwing up, even if the quality of my delivery isnt as great as compared to other people. 17. Contrary to what people may think, and despite my African-American-influenced friends. I am actually really, REALLY into Asian things. I love the Japanese and Korean language, music, food and culture, cute things, anime, manga, etc. 18. I have exactly ONE cosplay costume (so far). And it is an Attack on Titans Survey Corps uniform. 19. Ive been in Youth for Christ since 2007. I wouldnt be the person I am today without the people Ive met and have been inspired by, the friendships Ive made, and the struggles and victories of service. 20. During the holidays when we were kids, my brother and I used to make tents out of our bunk bed, and attached the tv to it using a blanket. Then we would watch Disney movies on video. When we grew up a little and moved to a new (now old) house, we made blanket forts in the living room and watched cartoon network, nickelodeon and fox kids shows. And then we would run around and pack it all up really quickly as soon as we heard our parents car come up the driveway, because we didnt want them to know....I guess now theyll know. I would like to nominate...
