Australian governments are currently fast-tracking plans for: - 4 mega-ports along the Reef - dredging and dumping of millions of tonnes of seabed and rock - including in World Heritage waters - allowing thousands more ships to cross the Reef every year We need to demonstrate that this is not the way forward for the reef. The recent Four Corners episode abc.net.au/4corners/stories/2014/08/18/4067593.htm showed us that the Australian government is not listening to the clear scientific consensus – dumping in the Reef’s waters is NOT OK.
