Thanks Narrows Center for the Arts - Music that Matters - Art that Inspires and The Bull Run Restaurant for having us this past weekend and Dyno Records Richard Osborne for this: Garland Jeffreys and his band were simply outstanding Friday night at the Narrows in Fall River. Garlands performance is a stunning testimony to the cathartic power of confessional rock and roll, played with the intensity of Otis Redding. Garland was in fine voice, and the first three songs slammed - he remarked, My birth certificate says Im 70, but Im going to be 90 in about 15 minutes. The music clearly energizes him, and electrifies us!
