Thanks Neerja Mam & Karishma for this awesome assignment. Following are the 10 great books which have impacted my life in some or other way. 1. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling - Top spot, no competion... :P 2. Arunas Story by Pinky Virani - a spine chilling incident narrated with such detail , it makes your blood bubble and leaves a scathing impression behind with you. 3. The Diary of a Young Girl by Otto Frank - We may be so different to each other and we are (actually, perhaps not at all..), but her diary is so well written and I could relate to so many aspects of life within Anne, especially her diary writing itself. 4. A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini - This novel tells you the truths about the afghanistan and painful life the afghans have gone through. 5. Animal Farm by George Orwell - On the face of it, it looks like one of Aesops fables. But its actually a hard-hitting political satire 6. My Sisters Keeper by Jodi Picoult - A book which deeply explores each and every relation in a family. 7. Hitler and his Gods by Georges Van Vrekhem - Background to the Hitler Phenomenon 8. Inferno by Dan Brown - in my opinion has been Brown’s most thoughtful work yet. The topic most regarded in this book –overpopulation and its effects – will really make you stop and worry about the world and its future for a moment. 9. The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks - Simply Awesome. 10. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen I wish to nominate Averil Al Sandeep Raj Sharma Sunita Rajput
