Thanks Rusty for your call out- I give you 10 Things about - TopicsExpress

Thanks Rusty for your call out- I give you 10 Things about myself that I never tell anyone. Dave Lehwalder 1- I once dropped a quarter while getting out of my car. My eyes follow the bounce on the parking lot surface until the quarter vanished. As I stood scanning the parking lot ground with my eyes for some time, I was unable to find the quarter. Felling perplexed, I knelled down for a closer inspection. From my new and different perspective, I could now clearly see the quarter. It had landed standing straight up on its edge! I realized that day, our mental perspective changes many, many times a day and I will see things differently many, many times a day. 2- I have a major crush…… on Korra, the Avatar 3- Once while driving to the sand dunes for a day of fun with a best friend, I pulled over on the side of the road to fix a loose tie down on the trailer. During that moment I noticed that my trailer tire had a large piece of rubber missing, I could see the tire “inners” and realized that it would blow out any minute. Since we were on the side of a very busy freeway, we jumped back in the truck and drove away. Determined to conquer this situation and not ruin a minute of our perfect day, we formulated a plan of attack on this tire. Soon we pulled over to change the tire. With NASCAR like precision, timing and teamwork, we made very short work of this tire business. SUCCESS! I have never seen 2 men change a tire so fast! As Niko tightens up that last of the bolts, I roll away the victim tire riding high on our manly awesomeness….I looked down to examine the damage on the tire as it rolled along. It only took a moment to realize….DOH! We just changed the wrong tire! A later reflection on this moment allowed me to see that my desire to be win, get more and get it first can easily make me blind and filtered to the obvious (what is). 4- Street lights quite often turn on just for me. Right as I am approaching. I know huh, Weird. This has been happening for over 20 Years. 5- Yoda make me cry, so do Superheroes. When I first watched Yoda light saber battle with Count Dooku, I was balling out of control. I am tearing up now just thinking about it. 6- Once as young apprentice chef, I was chopping away at some random veggie. I had a knife mishap and cut 2 of my fingers pretty bad. As I sat at the sink and dealt with the wounds, I began very strong convulsions. I was hanging on the sink edges and nearly ripped the sink off the wall as if there was high voltage electricity shocking through me. I just sort of blacked out; next I only remember the hospital nurse using a smelling salt to revive my attention. Soon I was having the usual stitches, when someone walked in the room with a confused look on their face. They asked me about why my father, who was just admitted to the same Hospital at the same time as me. He had just been in an Industrial electrical accident all the way across town; he was severely electrocuted and lost a finger…at the same time as me. I knew at that moment that I was connected,… to everything. 7- Shy = Level 10 8- I always see the number sequence 1134. Many times a day often. Everywhere. This has been happening for over 20 years as well. 9- As a chef, I believe that I can make food taste better, just by loving the process of cooking. Admiring the flavors and qualities of each ingredient and expecting a marvelous marriage of such. Happy foods just taste better, way better. 10- I get TOTALLY EXCITED when the new COSTCO coupons show up! OK FB Friends... Whats your story?
