Thanks Sarah Shally and Damien Doyle for nominating me for the Ice Bucket Challenge! Unfortunately little medical fact about my family, my grandmother is Gizmo (the Mogwai, not the Gremlin! Granny doesn’t like being called a Gremlin). As you may or may not know this means I cannot get wet, and this has brought terrible sadness to my childhood… No swimming pool or waterslides for little Aurélien! My move to Ireland 10 years ago has made the situation more complex, the Irish surprise rain shower proving quite a struggle to deal with. If only stopping me from doing the challenge wasn’t enough, I am still trying to figure out if not being able to eat after midnight applies to Irish or French time… Oh……and I didn’t even mention the fact that I am made of suede… But in order to do my part despite the affliction, I just donated to mnd.ie (and to grow.ie too!).
