Rs 5000/- min bal per a/c = INR 7.5 Lakh crore comes in economic system of India Look like a woohping numbers of ppl n mind boggling amount of money flowimg in main stream of Indian economy, it helps govt with DBT, reach poor or lower income ppl directly, helps poor to b saved from moneylenders and chit funds, govt gets money in economy and can fight Fiscal deficit well with this new flows and GDP will look up too with these fresh flows in system as banking get these low cost deposits. Plus it adds jobs in banking sector, Insurance sector and Telecom sector for millions of youths in rural and urban india to service these PM jan dhan bank accounts...
