Thanks be to God for this precious opportunity of seeing/holding/kissing the Holy Face of Jesus. This Holy Face imprint is believed to be the veil that covered JESUS face during his burial (other than the burial cloth of the Shroud of Turin) and this image is the face of The Lord upon his resurrection....St John’s gospel (20:7-9) tells us: Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself....... This cloth that covered the face of Jesus is referred to as the sudarium or the Holy Face... Similar to the tilma of the Our Lady of Guadalupe, this was not made by any human hands.
