Thanks everyone for all the well wishes, prayers, and concerns. The vocal cord procedure proceeded only 10 minutes late today (thats good for me). It was quick and painless and went well. I took a vow of silence today and can slowly increase my speaking to its normal level over the next few days. I cant sing for about a month, but I can still play guitar - and I will on Sunday with The Wag at The Turtleback Zoo (just no DL vocals). Right now, Im quietly hanging out with Arielle Strauss (who made me dinner) and Jake Rechtenbaugh (who made smoothies).
