My big plan this year is climbing Kilimanjaro with my wife and son and a number of other adventurous and generous climbers to support the education of women in Kibera Kenya. kgsafoundation.org/about If you are in a position to contribute to this cause consider it. It is a worthy effort. Maybe support my son Micah who has personally raised nearly all the funds he needs to climb. In about 30 days we will be climbing this iconic mountain in Tanzania and hope to be able to report that we have safely and successfully climbed to the roof of Africa at 19,340 feet. We should be trying for the summit on 2/14 in the middle of the night and hope to be at the peak by sunrise. I want to thank everyone who has supported me. This includes many friends and family members, my colleagues and The University of Denver for supporting my participation, KGSA and the Trinity Community, my Kenyan friends and colleagues who give us energy, purpose and friendship and many more special friends. I hope 2015 brings me closer to all living things and I intend to commit myself to the prospects of peace, respect for life and for the humane treatment of all.
