Thanks for all of the questions and comments guys. As this event grows, we definitely want to make it more competitor friendly. The current registration process doesnt require a team name, which is not a big deal. We just need one person from that team to register their team. The registration ID serves as an accountability tool. Also, we are introducing the elite division in the male group as a pilot. Past competitions have demonstrated a very distinct level of performance between male competitors that generally qualify in the top 400 of of the South Central Region. We generally see the same top finishers among competitions. We are looking to broaden the competition field. It has also been observed that there arent enough female elite competitors to justify a division (at this point). The competition field for the women RX is usually pretty stiff, and like we previously pointed out, there were only 12 Female RX competitors last year. Another concept is the 45+ masters age. Again, this is based on the level of performers we generally see at competitions respective to age. Again, we appreciate your feedback as we strive to make the Deep South Shootout better each year.
