Thanks for all the b-day wishes. It is nice to hear from everyone. It has been a busy year for me. I had a bout with colon cancer last spring, but came out a winner and I just finished my second knee replacement (getting old is hard on the body). Yet, overall life is very good. Debora and I are enjoying our lives and my new friends in Carson are wonderful. I have been truly blessed in my life to have met so many wonderful people. From my friends in Bend to Kuwait and my students, I have gatherd a mountain of memories.Now I can sit back and wait for my first social security check. Thanks again. Hope to see you soon. Mike
