Thanks for all the kind words; they meant so much to me. We are doing a very simple and informal memorial. The info is in the obit. below. OBITUARY FOR SARA JANE TRAYNOR JACKSONVILLE: A memorial service for Mrs. Sara Jane Traynor, 72, will be Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel. Mrs. Traynor died on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at her residence. She is survived by two daughters, Kimra (Raymond Herb) Traynor and Dawn (Victor) Traynor Clark; one son, Eric Traynor; two grandchildren, Kegan Traynor Herb and Liam Michael Herb; one sister, Glenda (Dallas) Maurer Kelly; one brother, Gerould (Sherry) Maurer; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Traynor was born in Massillon, Ohio on February 10, 1942 to Orlo and Lucile Maurer of Navarre, Ohio. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville where for many years she enjoyed singing as a member of the Joy Choir. Mrs. Traynor was a devoted mother and grandmother who put family above all else. Her greatest legacy to the world was her gentle, kind spirit and her unwavering capacity to love and support her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orlo and Clara Lucile Maurer; her husband, Michael Terry Traynor; and her grandson, Carrick Raymond Herb. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, C/O Alabama/Gulf Coast, 100 Chase Park 200, Birmingham, AL 35244.
