Thanks for the encouragement, everybody. I wish I were a happy-go-lucky type, or at least the type to keep her negative stuff to herself... But its nice having friends who accept me as I am -- dark, brooding, depressive. :) Im entering a pretty dark period right now, one Id hoped to avoid until Terry left for college. But such is life. Its a long and twisted road that lies ahead, and no map to guide me. Nice to know there are some rest stops -- meh. This metaphor is too banal. Anyway, thanks. Ive kept myself isolated from my friends for too long, long enough to have forgotten how to reach out and ask for help. The closest I get to that is posting cryptic, mournful statements on Facebook. And finding ways to brush off offers of help and understanding that do come, despite the true need I actually have for them. I promise: I wont slip away into the abyss without a fight.
