Thanks for the nomination Gareth. After some conscience wrangling I’ve decided not to partake in this global phenomenon… If anyone is bothered, and in no particular order… 1. I don’t like the way it’s been hijacked by other charities 2. I don’t think the charity spends enough of its income on research, although I cant substantiate that, and I accept that relying on internet comments isn’t the most reliable fact gathering method. 3. I don’t have a garden, although I do have a bucket. 4. I was in a hurry in Sainsbury’s last night and was stuck behind a load of drunk teenagers buying a tonne of ice to do their “challenge”. This made me a bit grumpy. 5. I’m missing an important bit of the whole ice bucket video thing. Those of you who have seen all the videos going around, and who know me best, know what I’m referring to. So Ill pass. However I like that Tesco are donating the extra profit they are making. That’s clever marketing. And the little girl who swore was funny. And the Australian newsreader rocks. So I nominate Jens, Gus-Paul, and Liz to get wet / don’t get wet. Delete as appropriate.
