Thanks for the nominations but I wont be doing the Ice Bucket Challenge. Theres nothing wrong with raising awareness about such an awful condition and the money raised is fantastic. However, the CEO of the Ice Bucket Challenge Charity is on over $300k a year and many of the other leaders of the organisation are on over $100k. Only 27% of the money is actually going towards research. I also think that a lot of people miss the point and are using it as an exercise to promote themselves and not the disease. Im definitely not saying that is everyone and Im definitely not suggesting people shouldnt carry on having a laugh when doing it, its fun to watch! But I will choose to donate to a charity more close to my heart :)
